Our Clinic Pets...
"Mamma Kitty"-
Our first "clinic cat", Mamma came to us in July 2004 pregnant with 5
kittens- all of which we found homes for.  We all fell in love with her and
decided it would be nice to have "ONE" clinic cat around.
Along came "PAWS"...
He came to us one stormy evening in
August 2004 as a kitten.  He was too
cute to let go and had extra toes on both
front feet - a sign he was to be our
"mascot".  Little did we know, he'd have
such a "dog" personality.  Now he stands
"guard" at our front door and acts as
though he doesn't get any attention,
when really he rules the clinic.
Then came "GYM"-
In December 2006, the "GYM
Corner" asked if we'd euthanize a
barely alive, half-frozen kitten they
had found lying on their doorstep.
We said, "SURE"!!
When they brought over this
pathetic-looking 4# kitten, we first
took its temperature.  It didn't even
register, so we decided to warm him
up.  We put him on a heating pad,
warmed Sub-Q fluids and put a
warm cage-dryer on him.   To our
amazement, he perked up and was
WILD!!
We soon figured out, he was blind,
which is why we believe he ended
up half-frozen waiting to die.
We couldn't release him then, so we
decided he could stay.
The rest is history so they say.

"yah- so WHAT" look.
